Soothing Lavender Detox Bath

This relaxing bath soak relieves sore muscles, calms the body and mind, and eliminates toxins from the body.

-2 cups Epsom salts
-½ cup Earth Fare Baking soda
-Lavender essential oil

Combine Epsom salts and baking soda, and mix until well-combined. Add 2-3 drops of lavender essential oil. Store in any container with a lid. When ready to use, add ½ cup of mixture to a warm bath. Moisture in the container can lead to the growth of bacteria, so store in a cool, dry place, and use a dry spoon to scoop desired amount into bath.

Vanilla Sugar Lip Scrub

Use this delicious, food-grade scrub to smooth dry lips.

-1 Tbsp coconut oil
-1 Tbsp Earth Fare Organic Cane Sugar
-Earth Fare Organic Vanilla Extract

Combine coconut oil and sugar. Mix until the ingredients hold together (it will look a little clumpy). Add 2-3 drops of vanilla extract. Scoop into small, lip balm-sized tins. To use, dampen lips and rub scrub on them in a circular motion. To remove, wipe off with a wet rag (or lick it off! It’s safe!). Apply lip balm after to keep lips hydrated and smooth.

Green Tea Body Scrub

Boost skin’s moisture and radiance with anti-inflammatory green tea and nourishing oils.

-1TBSP dried green tea leaves (approximately 2-4 Earth Fare Organic Green Tea bags)
-1 cup Earth Fare Organic Cane Sugar
-½ cup extra virgin olive oil (or sub with sweet almond oil for extra dry skin)
-2 TBSP Earth Fare Organic Honey
-Lavender essential oil (optional)

Combine dry ingredients, then slowly add wet ingredients until mixture is well-combined and sugar is saturated. Store in an airtight container. To use, gently massage skin with a tablespoon of the scrub, and rinse with warm water. Moisture in the container can lead to the growth of bacteria, so store in a cool, dry place, and use a dry spoon to scoop desired amount into hands.

Homemade Aftershave
-1 TBSP vegetable glycerin
-¾ cup witch hazel
-Cedarwood essential oil
-Vetiver essential oil
-Bergamot essential oil

In an 8 ounce glass spray bottle, combine glycerin, 25 drops cedarwood, 10 drops vetiver, and 8 drops bergamot. Swirl to combine, then add witch hazel until the bottle is almost full. Apply spray top and shake well to combine. To use, shake well before use, and spray liberally on the skin after shaving to soothe and tone. (For an unscented version, simply skip the essential oils.)

Shower Vapor Disks
-1 cup Earth Fare Baking Soda
-⅓ cup water
-Muffin tin
-Cupcake liners
-Eucalyptus essential oil
-Lavender essential oil
-Rosemary essential oil

Preheat oven to 350. Add cupcake liners to muffin tin. Mix baking soda and water to form a paste, then spoon mixture into cupcake liners until each one is about halfway full. Bake for 15 minutes, and allow to cool completely. Once cooled, add 3 drops of each oil to each disk. To use, simply place a disk on the shower floor, away from direct water stream, and allow the steam to diffuse the oils while you shower.
