YOU WILL NEVER FIND THESE INGREDIENTS IN OUR FOOD:

High-Fructose Corn Syrup

HFCS is an industrial food product that causes metabolic changes that promote weight gain, diabetes, heart disease and dementia. It is commonly found in foods like bread, drinks, applesauce, ketchup, yogurt, and many others.

Sodium Hexametaphosphate

This emulsifier changes the consistency of products such as syrups, ice cream, dressings, jellies, and juices, without providing any nutritional benefit. It has been shown to irritate the skin, respiratory tract, and gastrointestinal tract.

Trans Fats

Trans fats are artificial fats created in a laboratory. Eating them lowers our good cholesterol (HDL), putting us a greater risk for heart attack and stroke. These unhealthy chemicals can be found in baking mixes, breakfast cereals, nut butters, butter spreads, and potato chips, as well as many other processed snack foods.

Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)

An artificial flavor enhancer that increases cravings and binge eating. This artifical flavor is a common ingredient in soups, frozen dinners, instant noodles, and even ranch dressing.

Artificial Preservatives

Artificial preservatives like Calcium Propionate, Potassium Sorbate, and Potassium Hydroxide are not food–they are made in a laboratory to increase the shelf-life of foods and can have significant, negative health risks. There are a multitude of artificial preservatives used across the food supply in items like jellies, breakfast pastries, canned beans, condiments, olives, and breakfast cereals.
