THE BOOT LIST ITEM #105
Sodium aluminum phosphate (SAlP) is an ingredient commonly found in baking powders and processed cheeses. It allows baked goods to rise under heath and leavening ingredients. In cheese it creates a smooth soft texture which promotes easy slicing and melting. While this ingredient is appealing for manufacturers, excessive phosphorus consumption could harm kidney, reproductive, and neurological health.
