Partially hydrogenated oil is a solid form of vegetable oil that has undergone a process called hydrogenation. Partially hydrogenated oil contains trans fats, which have negative impacts on cholesterol levels and even memory! The FDA have declared trans fat as “not safe”, and as of 2018 have begun to phase it out of most foods.
