Ethyocyquin

Ethoxyquin (EMQ) is a quinoline-based antioxidant used as a food preservative. The EMQ helps to slow deterioration and spoilage of fats in things like dog food and cat food.it is also used as a preservative in this manner with food products. While there has been no significant proven health consequences, the FDA has linked EMQ to negative effects on animal livers.
