THE BOOT LIST ITEM #38

Dimethylpolysiloxane, also known as polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), is a silicone-based polymer made up of (CH₃)₂SiO and (CH₃)₃SiO. It is commonly used as an antifoaming agent in cooking oils, processed foods (like chicken nuggets) cosmetics, and even silly puddy as it prevents the formation of foam on the surface of liquids. There is no nutritional benefit to consuming this ingredient. It is always a good idea to ask your doctor if you are unsure about consuming it.
