Earth Fare partners with Charleston Animal Society to raise funds AND awareness!

08/20/08

Thanks to all who helped make our Pet Day extravaganza such rousing success! We grilled hot dogs, with all of the proceeds going to CAS, enjoyed the the eclectic music of Moonlight Ale, and crowned 3 beautiful and talented doggies in our pet contest. 5% of Earth Fare's sales on that Saturday were donated directly to CAS. CAS is also Earth Fare Charleston's Friend of August, so every time you forego the use of a new shopping bag during the month of August, Earth Fare will donate 10 cents directly to CAS. Come on in and show your support!

Lots of money was raised for the Friends of the Edisto River conservation group.

Earth Fare Brings in New Year on a Run!

01/05/08

Congratulations to Alex at the Trident United Way's Teenline for a wonderfully successful Resolution Run on New Year's Day 2008! This year's run helped raise money for the TUW's Teenline, which provides much needed assistance and a listening ear for teens who need a sounding board or other assistance. We had great fun, great food, great prizes and a wonderful community spirit as we finished the run at the Joe Rily Stadium. Also, a special congratulations to Earth Fare's own Mary Sandle, who finished the race with her best time ever!
