Vegetarian BBQ and Ice Cream Social to benefit Animal Compassion Network, the largest, non-profit, safe-for-life animal welfare organization in WNC , on Saturday August 9th. Along with enjoying the BBQ and Ice Cream and supporting ACN, shoppers will also be able to help in another way by shopping at Earth Fare on
Saturday August 9th and Earth Fare will donate 5% of the total store sales for the day to ACN. The Vegetarian BBQ will begin at 12 noon on the front patio along with live music from Sherri Lynn and Mountain Friends. The Ice Cream Social will take place in Earth Fare’s Community Room inside the store. Kids will also be
invited to decorate sugar cookies in the shape of dog bones and get their face painted during the Social. Looking for a way to get your dog recognized? Enter your pooch into a Best Guardian Look Alike contest or a Best Dressed contest and win a plaque and a Pet-Friendly Gift Bag from Earth Fare. You are invited to
bring a picture of your dog along with your name, your pet’s name, address, phone number and category you wish to enter. Drop your information off at Earth Fare/Westgate or Pet Harmony by August 8th. Winners will be announced at the August 9th BBQ and must be present to pick up your prize. Still want a chance
to win something for your favorite dog, then purchase raffle tickets to win a pet gift basket valued at over $90 compliments of Earth Fare. All proceeds from this event will help to benefit Animal Compassion Network’s Foster/Adoption Program, which pulls animals out of local shelters and places them in foster care until they are adopted into
