Earth Fare got its start back in 1975 in the mountain town of Asheville, North Carolina as a small health food store on Merrimon Avenue called Dinner for the Earth. Since that time, Earth Fare has evolved into Asheville's premier destination for natural, local and organic foods and products.

Earth Fare Westgate takes pride in the bounty that Asheville and the surrounding areas provide. We strive to give as many local choices for fresh meats, fruits, and vegetables as possible. At Earth Fare we feel it is important to inform our customers about issues facing our local food community and environment and strive to be a leader in these areas.
