At Earth Fare, we believe that a product should only be called local if it's honestly a local product. That's why you'll see items on our shelves labeled with two icons: Earth Fare Family Producers and the Earth Fare 100 Mile Commitment.

Our Earth Fare Family Producers are small, family-owned or artisan-operated producers - many of whom have been labeled in all of our stores as "local" in the past.

The Earth Fare 100 Mile Commitment is our promise to you that we will not label anything with the word "local" unless it actually comes from a distance no further than 100 miles from your home Earth Fare store. That means that each of our stores will have a different local selection -- which is how we believe it should be. When we say local, we mean it.
