Position requires previous experience with purchasing wine, beer, cheese, coffee, and specialty foods.
Duties
Extensive knowledge in these areas a plus.

Staff Development:
The ability to communicate the Earth Fare vision, merchandising guidelines, and financial goals to your staff. Interview, select, train and develop team members for your department with the goal to develop new leaders in the Specialty Department. Maintain a positive work environment. Write and implement schedules. Provide and promote excellent customer service.

Financial Management:
The ability to meet and exceed all goals presented by Earth Fare: Gross Profit, Sales, Labor, and Contribution to Overhead. The Ability to control your Sales to Purchases on a weekly basis. Inventory Management, including operating a safe and organized back stock area and Quarterly Inventory. Process all invoices and returns. Control shrink. Communicate beer & wine pricing to the Wine & Cheese Specialist and Pricing Department in Home Office.

Merchandising:
Implement the Earth Fare Merchandising Guidelines. Develop and maintain a creative store layout and product merchandising in support of the Earth Fare Vision.

Daily Operations:
Heavy Cheese cutting and wrapping, Maintenance of the Specialty Foods areas, Control spoilage. Maintain The Passive Sampling Program, Supervise staff, and perform all duties assigned.
Other duties as assigned by the store manager. Some relocation assistance available.
Requirements
Must have a high school diploma.
