Job Description
This position will provide leadership for the entire prepared foods department to include deli, bakery, and coffee bar in a Earth Fare store. You will be required for meeting Earth Fare goals for sales, gross profit, labor expense, and providing best in class guest service. The position will assist in hiring, training, mentoring, and progressive discipline for team members in the prepared food department. You will work with the Prepared Foods Manager to ensure the department is properly merchandised at all times to maximize sales. Requires a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in the Food Service industry. Works under general supervision; reports to a Prepared Foods Manager. Have the ability to follow direction, communicate effectively with team members, be creative, have a flexible work schedule and a great work ethic is required.
Duties
Hands on preparation and prepping of all natural food in department.
Training of team to to provide best of class guest service.
Merchandising/Maintaing department:. Building various displays that are aesthetic.
Ensure attractive readable signs/menus accurate prices and ingredients.
Ensure proper supplies for department, ensuring quality and accuracy of product received & inventory of product in-house.
Maintain clean and functional kitchen to meet department of health requirements.
Scheduling for best in class guest service, maintain shrink logs, accurate record keeping & approving invoices.
All other duties as assigned by the organization.
Requirements
High school diploma required. Higher degree preferred.
