My healthy story began in 1998 when my mother had her heart attack and had open heart surgery. I decided, right then, to look into what our food was doing to me. I started researching, reading labels, and learning about a better lifestyle. Once I learned, I started buying organic foods, supplements, and good Earth Fare dishwashing and laundry detergent products. I also bought all my pest and lawncare needs from Earth Fare.
I developed breast cancer from being on hormones for years, but I would not give up my supplements in order to take chemo. When my doctor prescribed chemo, I left the office refusing to take chemo. Later, I was called into the office and was told that I could take my supplements. Now, I am six years free of breast cancer! Praise the Lord. It has been an adventure and I am a better person for it.
My journey has been an organic one since that time of my mother's heart attack. Even though I may have a few slips, I do not get upset with myself. I get up from the failure and go right back to my "organic lifestyle." Earth Fare has been a wonderful place to purchase the "good" organic foods and supplements.
