Job Description
Responsibilities:
Ensure prompt, friendly, courteous, well-informed customer service.
Plan an attractive, well-stocked, well organized, well signed, bread shelf area.
Maintain cleanliness of prep area, bakery service area, & bakery walk-in refrigerator & freezers.
Ensure that hygiene, cleanliness, &neatness are on par w/ company standards
Cull all out-of-date product upon arrival each morning.
Use established par lists to determine types & amounts of doughs to mix each morning.
Mix dough according to formula specifications.
Use established par lists to determine how much par-baked bread to bake off.
Report customer suggestions, comments, & complaints to Bakery & Food Service Manager.
Assist morning service person in stocking bread shelves.
Carry out established opening & closing procedures.
Follow correct safety, storage & labeling procedures.
Report equipment failures or replacement needs to Bakery & FS Managers.
Remove trash by station, wipe down, sweep & mop area as needed.
Communicate w/ Bakery Manager and Service personnel on items needed for operation.
Maintain par levels of production for each breadeli case item.
Maintain sourdough feeding according to posted schedule.
Keep all equipment associated w/ deli case cleaned & sanitized.
Coordinate w/bakery team members for maintaining full & appealing bread shelves.
Assist pastry production team members during any down time.
Relieve bakery team members for breaks as needed & time permits.
