Job Description
Responsibilities:
Customer Service - Ensure prompt, friendly, courteous, well-informed, customer service.
Plan an attractive, well-stocked, well organized, well signed, hot line.
Maintain cleanliness of prep area, serving area and line section of cooler.
Ensure that hygiene, cleanliness, and neatness are on par w/company standards.
Offer tastes, samples and suggestions for hot bar customers.
Prepare entrees and sides using ingredients consistent w/ EF product standards.
Continuously evaluate taste and appearance of food.
Report customer suggestions, comments, & complaints to Food Service Manager.
Stock hot bars pans fully to give feeling of abundance.
Keep signs associated w/ line organized and neat.
Ensure freshness of all hot bar items by rotating and checking of product dates.
Correctly label and sign products.
Carry out established opening and closing procedures.
Follow correct safety, storage and labeling procedures.
Report equipment failures or replacement needs to FS Manager.
Remove trash by station, wipe down, sweep and mop area as needed.
Communicate w/ next shift on items needed for operation.
Set and maintain par levels of production for each hot entrée.
Set & maintain par levels of production for each prep item used in making entrees.
Properly set up and display hot bar pans keeping vegan/vegetarian separate.
Keep all equipment associated w/ hot line cleaned and sanitized.
Utilize shrink from other areas by incorporating them into hot bar daily menu.
