Job Description
Assistant store manager will be responsible for total store operation in the manager’s absence.
Duties
Duties include
but are not limited to:
- Supervision
of department managers and hourly staff including personnel decisions such
as hiring/firing/discipline and scheduling to meet sales and labor goals
- MOD responsibilities which require being
flexible to schedule to include nights and weekends
- Product merchandising including verifying that
sale items are correct and timely
- Plan-o-gram
implementation and maintenance
- Inventory
Control and ordering assistance
- Insure
backroom is maintained to Earth Fare standards
- Safety
lead, works with team on shrink control
- Provide
excellent leadership and customer service on the sales floor
- Other
aspects as directed by Store Manager/Home Office
- Must
be proficient in MS Office applications
- Must
be will to relocate for further advancement
Requirements
Ideal candidate will have previously been an
Earth Fare Department Manager or have other relevant management experience.
Some relocation assistance available.
High school diploma required.
